Based on the popular series of games around the world, Resident Evil is an action packed thriller played by Milla Jovovich (The Fifth Element), Michelle Rodriguez (Fast and the Furious) and Eric Mabius (The Crow: Capital Punishment) in a battle between good and evil, the human against the computer, the living against the undead. Something terrible lives in the Hive, a vast underground genetic research facility, operated by the Umbrella Corporation, a faceless conglomerate of bio-genetics. A deadly virus breaks loose and the Red Queen, the super computer that controls the Hive, seals all the facilities to easily stop the leak, killing all workers who become trapped there. Alice and Rain head the group of commands that will attempt to isolate the virus, finding that, after all, the workers are not... well... dead. One bite of these undead not only causes an infection and worse, the transformation humans in Zombies. Can the command team can beat the Red Queen and find the anti-virus in time?
